Objectives and Programme

The Sostenuto Final Conference in Valencia (FCVLC) has served not only as a platform to present the most relevant conclusions from the perspectives of thought, modelization and theoretical conception, but also as a forum to discuss the political reading of the implications that these conclusions have for the formulation of collective action in Europe.

This political reading was based on the ideas proposed by specialists like Jean-Michel Lucas, Simona Levi, Jaron Rowan, Pau Rausell, Hélène Combe and Milena Dragićević.

The event has also encouraged external actors to interpret the project’s processes and outcomes in order to enrich the debate and offer a broader vision.

In addition, the conference was aimed at consolidating and expanding the networks established during the last three years in the context of Sostenuto, incorporating those who agreed on the need to create new spaces for interaction and debate around the importance of culture.

Lastly, the conference participants offered the chance to discuss ways to generate sustainable environments for the project’s partners and for any organization that shared their approach.
