News from the CADO incubator – A.M.I. (Marseille, France)

Currently, 9 cultural operators are in a pre-test phase for a period of 3 months (October 2011 – January 2012). They will possibly enter the CADO incubator after this phase, one of the Sostenuto laboratory run by A.M.I (Lead partner) in French region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.

Organised by A.M.I. as part of the Sostenuto project, in partnership with ARCADE and the TREMA network , the Potlach 2011 will take place from 23 to 25 March in Marseille. The professional meeting of this year is dedicated to the question: « Artists and the development of local areas ? »

CADO incubator: report on the POTLATCH 2010

Organised by AMI, the professional meeting – POTLATCH 2010 – took place between the 23rd and 25th of March on the theme: “Short channels, bypass channels ? Decentralised markets…”

Around 40 people (cultural actors, students, institutions) took part to 3 half-days of debates. 156 individual meetings were organised through 2 half-days of speed-datings. Totally, around 60 organisations were represented with 75 people present to the meeting.

CADO, business trip in Brussels (27.09-1.10)

In the framework of the European project Sostenuto, AMI and its CADO incubator have organised a business trip in Brussels from 27 September to 1st of October.
They have brought there 11 project managers in developement for one week of professionnal meetings, immersion and networking.
The participants were former members of CADO incubator and operators from Italy, Spain and Slovenia sent by the Sostenuto partners.

This business trip had 3 objectives : 

1. « business » objective : For the participants, this travel was an opportunity for professionnal networking. 

2. « teaching » objective : included in the program were some workshops and meetings about the theme of European institutions and policy.

3. « group dynamics and mind opening» objective : visits,  collective moments of discovering, immersion in cultural life, meetings with original and innovative initiatives.
